    You know you're a country girl when ....
... You notice how tall the field grass is after a record Spring rainfall! :)

 ... You study the tall stand of hay with a smile of satisfaction on your face! :)

 ... You feel excitement when the hay gets cut! :)

 ...  You breath in the sweet fragrance with contentment, and grin! :)

 ... You marvel at the tall rows of hay after it's been raked! :)

 ... You go out and take photos so you won't forget how tall the rows are this year! :)

 ... You look forward to the next step, wondering what the bail count will be! :)

 ... You get a count, and rejoice at the increase in bails this year! :)

... You feel a rush of utopia as it's loaded up and headed down the road to feed someone's livestock again, this year! :)
... Oh the joys of being a country girl! :)

Candy To The Eye & Food To The Soul! :)

 One of the perks of working in a nursery is one gets to see things in bloom all season long! :)

 It was more desirable than candy to me, so I was always bringing something home! :)

 I would get to see plants before, during, and after they bloomed! Sometimes their fruit was even more impressive than their blooms! It was fun to be privy to their fragrances, too! :)

 There were a few plants here when we moved in, ....

 But the vast majority found their way to our yard due to my finding them irresistible! :)

 I've always wanted a yard that has something in bloom all season, ...

 So no matter what time of year it is, there's something to see! :)

 I love having a variety of color! :)

 Color lifts the heart! :)

 I also love enjoying a variety of fragrances throughout the yard! :)

 The plants that offer both beauty and aroma are sure keepers! :)

 They're candy to the eye, and

Food to the soul! :)
