Thanksgiving Point! :) Part 2

Welcome to the secret garden! :)
Sadly, there was a glitch with the first 8 photos I downloaded, that showed how one Finds this secret garden, so it seems this garden will Remain a secret! :)
Here we are in the entrance of this, my Favorite part of the whole Thanksgiving Point Garden! :)

Every corner had beautiful sitting areas! :)

When one looks straight ahead, one's taken with delight by the water spouting in a pool! :)
It definitely caught Brennan's and Tegan's eye! :)
I could see them thinking, "What are we standing Here for, - let's get to it!" :)
Some of the flowers are as tall as Tegan! :) Can you see him running down the trail!? :)
 Their objective! :)
Brennan blends in with the tall flowers, too! He's encouraging Mommy to hurry and join them! :)
They were enthralled and couldn't wait to touch the water! :)

I loved how every corner had peaceful sitting areas! :)

One of the boy's hand prints! Proof that contact with the water has been joyously made! :)

After a little bit of time of watching the boys touching and splashing their hands in the water, Mommy decides it's time to put Tegan back in the stroller, and get ready to continue our tour! :)
While her back is turned, and I'm busy snapping a photo of this cherub, the cherub looks on and as ...
Brennan gives caution to the wind and dunks his head in the pool! :)
Instantly she's there taking control of the situation ...
and wiping the water from his eyes! :)
On a nice day like this, you can tell it feels refreshing! :)
Now back up a path we go, where we exit a door, ...
And leave the secret garden! :)
It's easier to leave it when one knows there's beauty and more delights still, to come! :)
Playing in the water makes a guy thirsty! :)
 Time to refresh, ...
And Brennan is looking serious about it! :)
Now on to the next surprise! :)
We passed a quaint eating area and ...
The next thing Brennan is pointing out a huge wall of water falls! :)
I counted at least 6 major ones, ... (click on photo for a better view) ...
And we found a path leading up behind the falls, where we enjoyed more water activity! :)

A place made for looking through a water fall! :)
I was pleased to see a Japanese Maple thriving behind the falls! I didn't know they grew in UT! :)

A touch of whimsy in the form of a moose! :)

It's time to start back to the car! :) We pass this attractive stairway on the way! :)
Brennan's now back in the stroller, but you can see him looking around! He's not missing a thing! :)
We've come to the end of the garden tour! We hope you enjoyed it with us! :)
Sorry about missing those first 8 photos! After taking the time to download all 52 photos, I was unwilling to go back and download them all again! :) I'll make sure I use at least one of them in my next blog post, that I'll be doing about the boys! :)
Have a great day everyone, and may the sun be shining where you are! :)

Thanksgiving Point Garden! :) Part 1

I just have to share our wonderful walk through this gorgeous garden! :) Troy was working the day we went, so we met up with Troy's cousin, and since she has a year pass, she took us as her guests so we only needed to pay half price! :)
When we entered the doors, this magnificent painting greeted us! :)
Now here we go, out to walk the garden! :) Feel free to click on the photos to enlarge them for better enjoyment! :)

Brennan's decided he wants to walk, too, so he gets a quick spritz of sun protection! :)
Off he goes smelling the flowers, and this time "Mommy" joined him! :)

Sheana's favorite tulips of the garden! :)

I think Brennan shows signs of being a future gardener! He loved everything! :)

Some of the hard working hands responsible for all this beauty! :)

The boys were thoroughly enjoying themselves, as we were! :)
The rose gardens! I'd love to see them when they are in bloom! :)
We came to the area where food can be purchased to feed the fish! :)
Brennan and his cousin got to feed them and they loved it! :)
 So did we! :)

The water tub-fountain from a distance! We'll see it up close a little later! :)
 Cousins enjoying ...
being at the highest point of the garden! :)
A view of the rose garden below! :)
Brennan's ready to get on to the next thing! :)
Tegan's awake and ready to walk around, too! :)
Here we are mid-way up what I call the "tub-fountain", looking down, ...
and looking up! The boys loved dipping their hands in the water! :) If you click on this photo you may better see the statue at the top! :)
Troy's cousin needed to go pick up one of her children from school, and it was time to eat a snack! :)
Before she left she told us how to find "a secret garden"! We'll be seeing that next! :) I'll continue our garden walk in Part 2! :) Hope you're enjoying this! Stay tuned because the best is yet to come! :)
