These August mornings hold an Autumn chill, lately. The cool nights and mornings have actually given me an opportunity to turn on the oven and bake some yummy foods! :)
Happily, the days are in the 70's and 80's, (here in the Pacific NW), which is perfect for Summer fun! :)
It doesn't take long for the sun to evaporate the morning mist, ...
and feel it's warmth on our skin! :)
For a moment, dew drops dangle and shimmer in the morning sun! :)
August is full of good things, and whispers promises of more to come! :)
The Mason bees have been busy filling tubes with next season's pollinators! :)
The felines enjoy having pleasant weather to be out-and-about, following me around the yard! :)
There's sweet corn-on-the-cobb to look forward to! :)
Can't help but notice the first hint of Fall color beginning to appear.
I ended up placing the garlic in the greenhouse to dry! :)
The cherry tomatoes ...
and Juliet (Roma) are ripening now, and the beef tomatoes will begin to color soon! :)
Not only do my furry friends enjoy my company, in the Summer time, but I enjoy theirs! :)
