Silk! ... For Sheana! :)

This post is with Sheana in mind! I've been watching the corn closely, hoping to see the silk begin to form in hopes that we can have fresh corn-on-the-cob by the time she comes to visit!

The corn has been growing in leaps lately and now stands over my head! ... But the best news of all is that today I noticed the silk is finally starting to form! :) ...

Hurray!! :) Here's hoping the corn will be ready to eat when you're here, Sheana!! :)
